Yes, it was a day of small beginnings in the year 1969 when Mr. Vittal Shetty set up Catering Services, but the dreams were big. And it was this pioneering spirit and clairvoyant vision that has seen us grow, diversify into a multi-crore organization and achieve the respectability that we today command.
Mr. Shetty, joined his father in 1976 and from 1987 took over the company business and turned it into Shettysons of today. He not only multiplied the business turnover to almost Rs. 600 million, but also diversified from industrial catering to Facilities, manpower management and Restaurant business & today has approximately 3500 staff across India. He groomed & motivated the next generation of the family to take the business across India and now has set his vision to make Shettysons an International brand in hospitality. His mantra is Quality & service with a smile.
Mr. Pravin Shetty introduced his younger brother Sathyaprasad Shetty into the family business in 1988 and groomed him personally to make him capable of managing the whole operations of Shettysons Pan India. In 1998 Mr. Shetty sent his brother to Switzerland to Hotel Institute Montreux, a premium Hotel management Institute were Mr. Sathyaprasad Shetty, not only passed with distinction, but also bagged the best professional award in year 2000.Mr. Sathyaprasad Shetty travels across India managing the operations & setting up new Ventures of Shetty Sons. His belief is that the right Team can achieve any Goal.
Mr. Vinayak , The elder son of Pravin Shetty , studied Hotel Management from Victoria university, Melbourne, Australia and did another year in Hotel Institute Montreux, Switzerland, keeping. With the vision of Mr. Shetty to groom the next generation to take Shettysons to International Market. Mr. Vinayak Shetty today handles marketing of Jumjoji the Parsi Dinner, Dhuaa Express and Attill the Fine Dine Restaurant chain
Mr. Vinit Shetty the younger son of Mr. Pravin Shetty, started his own Dance group by the name of SWORDFISH, at a young age of 18 & went on to become quite a name in city of Mumbai & won many a competitions, but with the family hospitality business multiplying, he was asked to join the business by the family & today he manages operation of Attill the fine dine, Dosa express & Dhuaa express in Gujarat.
